Holly Tempo, center front, with her Otis College of Art & Design students
Holly Tempo brings over 25 years as an art educator at the college level and an active professional life to provide creative mentoring to visual artists. This will take the form of studio visits where the artist will review your artwork and provide guidance on how to develop it and your creative practice in general, and how to present yourself professionally. Artists may sign up for just one or a series of sessions. Editing services for artist statements, bios, resumes, and websites are also provided by the artist who has a background in writing and editing.
These services are best utilized by highly motivated artists who are stuck in their studio practice, feel disconnected from their local creative community, are developing portfolios to enter graduate school, need help organizing their ideas about their work and professional lives, or just need a creative tune-up. Appropriate for artists at a range of stages in their creative lives, including new grads, mid-career, self-taught, and those returning to making art after a prolonged absence. Creative mentoring studio visits can be conducted in person or online.
Creative mentoring: $150/hour
Editing services: $100 per document (up to two edits)
PayPal, Zelle, and Venmo accepted. Please contact the artist at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule services.
